tobari will wait for the food to arrive then, letting himself sit on the couch. he won't go through rafayel's sketches but he does retrieve a book that he's been reading... it is probably one of rafayel's books on the ocean or art because learning about what his boyfriend likes is something important to tobari too. though now that he's not occupied with keeping up with rafayel, he does start feeling the heaviness of his eyelids...
he could find any number of nicknames to call tobari. the matter of the fact is, does he want to? especially when he's acting so grumpy (it's cute in his mind). it's why he actually zones out during his shower, and just sort of re-hydrates, before he eventually steps out. has it been over half an hour already? he checks the clock, before he does hear a small sound at the door. it looks like it's their food?
but, before he goes to answer, he notices that tobari has dozed off with his book in his hand. he can't help but to smile a little as he reaches over to gently push him slightly to his side, and places a blanket on top of him.
tobari does go with the gentle push easily enough, even though the sensation of the slight slump does wake him up enough. he blinks even as his face hits the pillow and he feels the blanket, grumbling even though he definitely was the one tired enough to just fall asleep like that.... ]
[ he's going to give him a gentle kiss on his eyelids as he heads to the door. he comes back seconds later. there's a cart now in the doorway, which holds some of the trays he couldn't manage to in one trip. he places the first one down on the secondary room, in which a long dining table is, and then returns for the second and third.
he didn't realize that they ordered so much, but it probably doesn't help that he also asked for the desserts too. which, he leaves on the cart near the entryway for now. though, he is pulling out the tea. when he's all done, he goes back to tobari. ]
The food is covered, so you should be able to rest a little longer, sleepyhead.
[ honestly… the little kisses are soothing and he is tired enough to believe there’s nothing else that needs to be done for a second. so he does return to dozing mostly against his will when rafayel gets all of their food brought in. sorry tobari committed the cardinal sin of letting his appetite run away with him while he was super hungry.
