[ this time a little more sternly, trying to get his attention properly. tobari will sit up, his hand reaching out to catch rafayel by the chin directly and make him turn toward him. his other hand wraps around rafayel's wrist yet again, pulling his hand off tobari's leg so that he doesn't have to contort himself uncomfortably for this. ]

[ hearing his name, he does try to focus his eyes on tobari, even if it feels like it takes all his strength to do so. he feels heady and kind of out of it, and he feels like the only thing he really wants is...

when tobari grabs his arm and he loses his grip on tobari's leg, he looks genuinely hurt. he can't help but make a small noise in discontent, before he does end up inching closer. he is clearly trying to smell his collar bone next, and he leans in to nip him. ]

still, he doesn't ever want to deal with that hurt look. so he presses his lips to rafayel's temple and then his cheek, trying to soothe him ]

[ and he doesn't want to be folded like a pretzel to have his leg sniffed, but he can work with this. his hand falls to rafayel's waist, steadying him ]

[ when he feels the kisses, it only ignites something else in him. he feels desperate somehow, and it probably shows in the way he holds onto tobari's shoulder now. he knows he should probably get out of this water, but to be blunt... he doesn't want to. which is also why he presses his chest up against tobari and slots their lips together in a sloppy kiss. he presses his tongue against tobari's lips and more than that he seems to only pull away just enough to breathe in the scent around his neck. ]

simple fact is that tobari doesn't know how to fix this—but he does know that he can't just leave rafayel upset or risk him feeling hurt again. for some reason, that is the worst case outcome to him. so instead, he accepts the kisses that come and parts his lips to deepen the kiss. it's when his own tongue darts out to lick into rafayel's mouth that tobari takes his own initiative and reaches behind him to lift the drain of the bathtub so it starts to empty. fine! skip the bed! but he's had enough of this horny water!

his hand at rafayel's waist grips and guides him so that he can be as close as he wants, encouraging him onto tobari's lap. he endures the delirious mumbling, but he'll also try to shut up rafayel with his personal favorite method: kissing his lover so passionately he can't see straight.

tobari returns bite for bite—though his nip is on rafayel's bottom lip, chiding ]

when he hears the water begin to drain, his eyes do dart back to tobari. he presses his palm against tobari's chest, just enough to wriggle enough space for him to release a quiet noise of complaint, a sound mixed with both parts pleasure and displeasure in equal measure. yet in spite of it, he finds tobari's kisses to be too enthralling to drag himself away from for too long. if his objective was to derail rafayel, it's a success.

when rafayel does manage to pulls himself away again, he drums the tips of his fingers on the tattoo on tobari's chest. ] Can I... [ he doesn't actually end up asking before he leans in and starts sucking on inked skin. even when he stops, he's rubbing his head back and forth against his chest... ]

[ please do not make excuses for him.......... also why do you want the npc to be yona i'm crying

they've probably fallen into bed enough times that tobari no longer feels the need to be so careful with rafayel—but he still often errs on the side of thoughtful and romantic whenever he personally initiates. aphro is annoying—mostly for the way that rafayel still seems uncomfortable even when tobari tries to give him what he wants. though in the end, it really only makes him try harder to help alleviate some of that discomfort.

there's a brief hitch in his breath when rafayel fixates on his tattoo for a second, followed by a low laugh when rafayel just nuzzles against him afterward. tobari's hand comes up to the the back of rafayel's head, gently tangling in his hair, and pulls just enough to incline his head back and chin upward to reclaim his attention again. tobari leans in himself, pressing his nose against rafayel's cheek and similarly nuzzling in briefly in an affectionate little gesture to balance out the stern motion with something a little sweet ]

Thanks for the gift. [ a hickey he won't even be able to cover up with concealer because it's against his tattoo. well. he'll figure that out later ] Let me give you something too, love.

[ the way that rafayel being so out of it makes tobari doting enough to use a rare pet name that he's not even sure rafayel will remember.

also his free hand resting at rafayel's hip will begin to trace a spicy path downward—but also i will tag smut once every six months if we are lucky so we sure might need to ftb. please know tobari will take care of rafayel for as long as it takes but he will try to make it to the bed eventually, but if not then the couch will be his compromise. ]

in comparison to tobari's steady, romantic approach, rafayel's was likely a lot more volatile. comprised of his fleeting whims in conjunction with his desire for turning everything into a competition. it's only in moments like now where he's so completely consumed in the flames of his not-so-secret wants, that he loses sight of all of that. it wouldn't be the first time where he's felt this carnal desire (sorry, he apparently also has his heat cycles), but it's the first time it wasn't triggered purely by his natural biology.

that said, rafayel also follows along (like a sims). mostly to grab tobari and pull him into a light hug in thanks. despite him not putting it into words, he does appreciate all he does around the house, especially when it can’t be easy following along with his whims. ]

he makes it as far as getting the temperature right on the bath and starting to fill it before he gets pulled into the hug. there’s a brief, half-hearted grumble at being interrupted before he shakes his head and returns the hug. after a moment, he tilts his head to press a kiss against rafayel’s cheek. ]

[ the kiss on the cheek gets an easy smile from rafayel. there may not have been an immediate welcome at the door, but tobari's steady presence and his clear desire to make invisible amends... more than makes up for it. which is a little tiny bit regrettable since he was planning on milking it. (sad)

either way, he returns the kiss by giving tobari a small one on the top of his head. ]
