but it's a little funny for rafayel to run his mouth even while giving his affections—tobari can't help but sigh with the series of kisses that come, willing to at least humor rafayel with a slight arch in his back to try to follow the physical contact. tobari's leg comes up to hook around rafayel's hip as if to encourage and keep him close, still demanding.
it's just... tobari also can't help how affectionate and fond he feels... rafayel's reddened ears and embarrassment are so cute... even if his roleplay is ridiculous... it's true that there was something a little desperate to tobari's insistence on closing the physical distance between them—when hitting an emotion barrier, he found himself wanting to shrink that feeling of separation even just a little. he's not sure if this is entirely successful, but it is making him extremely soft as his boyfriend fumbles seducing him.

rafayel makes a slight groan, mostly in exasperation. he really would turn this all upside down? he would pout if he wasn't already determined to seduce tobari until he couldn't take it anymore (delusion). but, as he thought, tobari is good at keeping a certain composure about him.
he doesn't think for a minute it's because his own approach is absolutely ridiculous. when tobari wraps his legs behind him, he can't help but feel like control was swiftly leaving him. it's crazy to think he wasn't the one annoyingly instigating tonight. he's about to slip his head out from tobari's arms, so he can move him around a little, but he stops mid-way when he feels the kiss to the top of his head.
he falls completely silently, and he's still for a good moment or two, before— ] ... That's cheating.
[ when he looks back up at tobari, his eyes look a little moist. but, he can't help but feel emotional. ] I really meant what I said earlier. I'm never going to let you go. [ he gently pulls tobari's chin up slightly, just enough to slot their lips together in another heated kiss.

yes... it is that he is good at keeping his composure... and not that this roleplay is really something else. but it's fine, because rafayel is making up for it by once again being the cutest person to exist. it's not an understatement to suggest that tobari is so uniquely adoring to him. he's unfriendly with most people by default, but over time, he's just ended up more and more absolutely enamored with rafayel. even when he's being absurd. if anything, that is part of the whole package.
so tobari meets him for that kiss, deepening it automatically and this is what pulls a pleased noise from him, both soft and wanting. who would've thought that he'd be more into intimacy than (checks notes) prisoner rp? he follows it up with a second kiss, third, fourth, until they start to blur together.
when he does finally pull back, he lets his nose affectionately brush against rafayel's cheek. a little nuzzle. ]

the series of kisses leave him feeling a little heady. he feels like he's drowning in tobari, and all his perceptions can't help but hone in on every single thing about him. the cadence of his words, the pace of his breathing, and even his taste on the tip of his tongue. he doesn't know how many times they've kissed, before they finally separate.
that said, it's hard for him to continue roleplaying like this, and so he ends up untying one of tobari's wrists, and instead ties the other end to his. he looks down at their connected hands, and can't help but smile.

WELL. tobari probably does keep rafayel awake late into the night, one way or another. as close as he could keep him, he intended to take his time until he could answer some of that dissatisfaction that had been building up. it's easier to handle worries about his boyfriend being cryptic when the goal was to eliminate room for any extraneous thoughts... all he wanted was to have him in any way, or every way, that he could.
even if now he's been trapped in bed for the better part of two, almost three hours.... he really woke up naturally around 9 and has been stuck here because he thought he could wait for rafayel to wake up... it occurs to him to undo the tie but what if rafayel finally wakes up when tobari is gone and throws a fit about being abandoned??????? annoying

STOP!!! to be honest, i swear there is a post on certain lis potentially being ambidextrous, but rafayel is not one of them. the roleplaying gets worse... how many times did tobari have to break character to laugh.
that said, after causing them both so much internal strife, it's kind of funny how rafayel sleeps peacefully beside tobari. he stirs occasionally, trying to reach out to tobari's warmth on instinct. even now, his eyes flutter open just slightly, just in time to feel the feathery light touches on his skin. it tickles and so he lets out a quiet whine as he tries to move his hand away, but he can't. he struggles for a bit, before mummering nonsense under his breath about birds invading his dreams and— ]

he's also pretty close to laughing now as he watches rafayel try to fucking free his hand from his own insane decision to tie them together. stupid (fond). rafayel tries to get out of bed but tobari is still thinking about how they're literally bound, so he'll reach out to snake his arm around rafayel's waist before he gets very far out of bed at all to pull him back before tobari is forced to follow him anyway. he manhandles him so that raf is back on the mattress, tobari hovering over him and giving him another kiss on the mouth to properly wake him up. he'll bring their joined hands up and pin raf's hand against the bed just so he can't be dragged around like a dog on a leash anymore... ]
