although, he also makes it a point to put a pufferfish plushie close to tobari's side. his way of showing him he's mildly annoyed with him. ]
even though he's also confused at the pufferfish plushie.... why is he in trouble again...
well, he at least tries to be mindful of rafayel's moods so he'll pick it up and put it into his lap for safekeeping? and then reach over to pick up one of rafayel's rolls, guiding it up to his mouth to feed him ]
that said, he can already feel the tips of his ears grow hot at the sudden statement. even if he knows it's not, it feels like a private confession that's just reserved just for him; a secret that they can divulge only within this space. in turn, it makes rafayel feel like he can also be just as expressive about his feelings and all the desires he keeps on lock.
and so, even as he leans in to take a bite, he can't help but maintain... intense eye contact like the sushi roll might not be the only thing he wants to take a bite of. though, he does back off easily enough, just enough so he can grab some of the sweet shrimp and hold it out to tobari. ]
Trade? [ a tilt of his head as he chews and swallows down his piece. ] I'll work even harder so I can take care of you.
